MEET TAMMEKA

My Journey to becoming Glam By Tam Started shortly after graduating high school a year early. I started applying to colleges with the hopes of becoming an astronomer ( lol I know far from where we are today ) I ended up getting accepted to college but decided to stay home to care for my mom. Though happy to have me home she made sure to keep my mind focused on the future , encouraging me to enroll into Vance Granville Community college I decided to go for cosmetology .

After a year and a half of long nights working 2 jobs and cos school during the day I graduated and was on the journey to who I am today. I began studying the art of extensions early 2015 and began to perfect my craft one lesson at a time shortly after my mom passed it was my mission to honor her name and be the best that I can be , my brother , husband and I sat around a small table and they chose the name Glam by Tam honoring who she was (Tammy) & who I am (Tammeka). I’m so grateful to have worked with some of the best cosmetologist who has shaped me into the woman I am today I will be the best damn hair extension stylist to come so stay tuned.
